Default Help! Rear speakers

Im in the process of installing new speakers in the back of my 2dr. My problem is that when they are screwed in the magnet sticks to the metal panel behind it. Is this ok or will it mess up the speaker.

Dont do it, you probably wontmess up the speaker but the sound of it bouncing off the panel willdrive youinsane. you'll have to find some sort of spacer I had the same problem with mine, but the speakers just happened to come with spacers so that solved my problem.

not sure if it will hurt the speaker or not but like zack said it will annoy you with rattles and such, spacers are common and most audio stores should have them or get them from crutchfield, i don't have a 2 door so im not sure how much spacing you will need but they come in diff heights.
