Default help with wiring radio

I recently bought a kenwood radio for my blazer, and got the Scosche GMDA wiring harness which is for my blazer [2001 with the bose delco radio system in it] anyways, ive wired up plenty of systems and this is the first I've ever had an issue with. I got the harness completely hooked up and together, went to hook the radio on, it powered on, turned on, everything was on... just wasn't getting any sound? I know I got everything put together right but I must be missing something for there to be no sound? I tried searching but haven't come to an answer yet.. The harness instructions are saying "THE GMDA harness must be used with Scosche FAI-3A Bose/Premium Sound interface" but thats the first I've ever heard of needing something other than just a harness. Any ideas would be great! Thanks!

even with the bose converter, i get the same exact thing with it as i was getting without it, rendering this converter useless and a waste of $25. any other ideas?
