Default Radio Works, but...

Part 1 of 2:
Installed new speakers approx a month ago. Radio and speakers (Focal Components in the front & rear doors) been working fine. Earlier today ok. But now radio comes on, and theres no sound. Checked the fuses in the panel by the steering wheel and they're fine.

Don't understand, I always thought if the fuse was bad, there will be no power at all, thus no sound or power to the radio. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Part 2 of 2:

I will be installing the following and would like to know how I should hook it up:

-Amp kit needed, and what's needed in it please?

-Do you recommend an extra Battery or Capacitor?

-Where I should run the wires (considering installing amp on back of seats).

I have the following:

SPEAKERS
* 2 Memphis S Class (SC 16-sc2.120) Amps: 1 Amp For Components (Focal Polyglass 165 VB/70 RMS)

* 1 Amp for the Coaxial - Access 165 CA1 65 RMS.

SUB
JL J2 1000.1 for the Sub (Kenwood Excelon - KFC-XW1225dB/
· "Rated" input power: 300 watts (150 watts per coil)
· "Maximum" continuous input power: 600 watts (300 watts per coil)
· "Peak" input power: 1200 watts (600 watts per coil)
Thanks in advance,
