Default hey folks, its been awhile!

it's been some time since ive logged on here, but for what im looking for i figure its the best place to come.

I drive a 97 4dr blazer, and im looking to get new speakers for it. i already have a deck installed and all but i was wondering what size speakers i need for all 4 doors and what you folks recommend. so help out a fellow blazer owner and lay down some knowledge haha.

-thanks in advance, joe

i like alpine type s or type r, kicker KS series, MB Quart is still a favorite as well. Whats the budget your looking into and are you willing to run an amp for it?

The new JL audio c2's sound freaking awesome. To me they sound better than the top of the line zr's. Focal would be my first choice but they're kinda pricey.

I like Diamond Audio. From what I hear they take a little work to fit but they will work. Price isnt too harsh either.

I like MBQuart! With an amp they can scream and still hold every note. Good ones up front and just some cheaper (but still good power handling). Get some subs and your set.

no one can tell you what your ears prefer better than you. get out there and start auditioning different types of speakers. pay attention to what materials you like (ie aluminum , soft fabric, dome, inverted dome - tweets and the same idea for your mids). To me, nothing beats a great soft dome tweet and a paper mid.

all depends on what kind of music you like such as kicker and jl audio are good for rap and hip hop and polk and boston acoustic are better for instramental music. I'd recomend going to best buy or any car audio place and listening to the different brands before you by something
