Default HID question

I just installed a set on 6k HIDs but what i need to know is the dos and donts. I know you have to use them differently then factory bulbs but in what ways.

uhhh dont turn the lights on and off, on and off, on and off alot in one time, the initial ignite of the bulb pulls some juice, i would get a relay harness though so your not pulling the power through ur stock headlight harness

Default RE: HID question

I don't think it should, but I wouldn't try it. I have flashed my high beams a few times and they were fine, but I wouldn't do it too many times, then again, why would you need to. If you are going to be turning them off and on, then do a quad beam mod so they stay on all the time. If you do that, you have to disable your drl's and then you will have all four headlights (2 high beams, and 2 low beams) on at the same time, or no headlights on. I have 6K's myself and I take care of mine, I don't try anything stupid as I don't want to hurt them and then have to buy new ballasts. I already have a new set of bulbs from when I thought I blew them, turned out to be a wiring issue.
