Default How to add bass with subs to a stock car audio system?

Ok, I know next to nothing about car audio systems. What I want is a 'small' bass system, what I think of is a 10" sub. But thats all I know. What I need is for someone to clairfy everything else in the process of hooking this sub to your audio system with whats neccesary.Amps? Also how much this system would cost in a cheap version. Is less than 500$ possible what about 250$. Thanks

try these

300W Rockford Fosgate Loaded Enclosure + Kenwood KAC-1502S Amp + Kit

Orion XTR124 12" Subs + MB Qaurt FX1.400 Mono Amp + Kit + Sub Box

plus you will need a line out converter Axxess AX-ALOC608 (axaloc608) 2-Channel Adjustable Line Level

you can look on there for more packages, but these are ones that I personally would suggest for a small system (and I'm a basshead)
