480wrms 4ch and 600wrms sub amp. Not even a flicker of lights... Stock alt, and regular battery. Big 3 upgrade, upgraded alt to junction box wire, new junction box. That's all I've done...

Woot Woot! I found the problem... I relocated my subwoofer amplifiers ground rso that it can be shorter length. The length of it was about 40 inches and the length is now about 13 inches. I wouldn't have thought that the length of the ground would make a big impact... but thanks to all of the responces

ya 40 inches is a kinda long ground - one other thing to remember the farther you go the larger gauge cable you need (in the future lol) and your existing ground should be no smaller than the amp allows (at least in my world...)

OK... While the car is on the music doesnt cut off anymore. But i do notice that my voltage on the gauge cluster drops. I tested my alternator and battery and both are working properly. I have a stock alt and a red top optima battery and big 3 upgrade with 1/0 gauge ofc wire. How could i go about fixing this problom??

You have maybe 80 amps worth of draw on those amps & with a single l7 and he cadence's.... at full gain. your alternator should be fine. you didn't mention a cap in your setup. have one?

Wire your big 3 wrong?

no?

probably the alternator is on its way out. My diagnosis. seacrest out!

I have about 1500-1800rms, Og wiring, 1farad cap, stock Alt, Optima Yellow top. I don't push it all the time but if I do I still get a slight dimming, not worried about it though.
