Default How much space in the back of a blazer.

Ok I am plan on getting a Blazer sometime soon but till I do I want to build myself a sub box for my s-10. I am curious how much room there is in the back of a blazer so when I get it I can use the same box.

Hope this made sense. Thanks all.

Is it an extended cab S-10?

In the back of my Jimmy there's something like 39" wide by 32" from the tailgate to the back of the seats. I'll measure again to be certain, but the space available will be in that range as high as you're willing to build it. As an example, an upcoming project I'll be doing in a '98 Blazer will be using four 15" subs in a 19cuft C-Pillar wall where the enclosure will slide in through the back of the truck at 39" W x 32" D x 36" H.

Hope that gives you an idea of what you have to work with in one.

You say you're getting a Blazer, then you say it's an extended cab??

I've got a 98 Blazer and the box I had in the back of mine was 38 wide, 14 tall and 30 inches deep. I still had probably 4-6 inches from the back of the box to the tail gate.

I'm hoping to build a new box here soon. I got rid of my old one.
