Default LCD MONITOR IN A HIDDEN SPACE???

hey yall anyone who has a 98-04 blazer should know what im talking about.
OK you know how there is the little flip down ciggarette holder, with the lighter and everything,
i was just wondering about putting a 5.5" ALPINE/// LCD monitor in that place. And then routing a small DVD player to it and placing the dvd player in the center consol???

JUST AN IDEA BUT HIT ME UP IF YOU THINK ITS POSSIBLE

With a LCD screen, you only get a clear picture when you look at it straight on, otherwise it starts to black out if you look at it from any angle. I'd say find a different place since the ashtray doesn't fip down completely. If you're going for a monitor, go with a stereo that has a LCD/DVD/CD capabilities. That way it's up front, the monitor goes back into the stereo when not in use and there is no 'blacking out'. Just my 2 cents.
