best to check? i'd say to do the power from the amp to the ground. i'm not sure though, i don't own a dmm yet

ya, just stick it in power and ground on the amp, or the batt terminals. make sure the dmm it set to dc

don't remember what gauge of power wire you're running (or if you've mentioned it yet) but it might be a good idea to check the voltage @ your amp. if it's small gauge, you may not be pulling all the power you think you may be.

you can compare that to an @ battery (or alt) reading if you want.
