What if i bought the kenwood amp and hooked it up to the jensens, would that be decent at all, i kinda wanna help my friend out.

IMO, Jensen makes some ****. They distort at low volumes. If you have ever bought or listened toa Visonik sub, you have a good idea of what the Jensens will sound like. I'd rather go without honestly.
