If it's the newest model of 12", then RMS is 750...

500 will still be loud [8D]

Nevermind, clicked the wrong picture, lol

The 12" is RMS of 500

the 15" is 750

It's the newer model, which has dual 4-ohm instead of dual 2-ohm. Does that mean I need to up the wattage on my amp?

EDIT: i had previously written WRONG info...

you need an amp that puts out power at 1ohm. the only kicker amp that will work is the sx1250.1 which would power the r's quite nicely. none of the zx amps are at 1ohm

So you bought 2 subs, both are dual 4 ohm coils is that correct? You will need an amp that is 1 ohm stable, or 4 ohms.

That's correct.

None of those amps will work (they will but they won't ;S). I know kicker makes a model that is 1 ohm stable, but I can't remember maybe the KX's. That's why I suggested the sundown. You wiring options for the 2 subs are 1 ohm or 4 ohm. So you need an amp that does like 1000-1500 watts at either 1 ohm or 4 ohm. It's going to be easier and cheaper to find one that does that at 1 ohm.
