Go with the Sundown if quality is important to you. If not, Hifonics BXi-1606D will give you about 1300wrms at 1ohm for ~$250...

A word of advice, dont purchase subs without knowing which amp you are going to match them with. If you had bought the Dual 2ohm instead you could have used the kicker amp no problem. It's crutial to match subs and amp before committing to a purchase...

Yeah, I definitely rushed that order. I was gonna wait an extra day, and would've went with the 2-ohm, I guess for the price the Type R 07 was being sold at, I figured I'd buy it and manage to match it afterwards, just so I had the subs anyway. Now I found the 2-ohm models for about the same price on ebay just looking.

Says this one is 1 ohm stable.
And the Hifonics

None of the Kicker ZX Amplifiers are 1-ohm stable...The 1606 from OCS is a good deal...

The Hifonics from OCS seemed like a good deal to me, but I don't know if there are any better 1-ohm amps that I should get.

There are some better amps out there, but the Hifonics is good bang for the buck. Not sure where I saw that Sundown, but that was a good deal for $315 shipped...

The kickers are 2 ohm stable. People have run them @ 1 ohm but good luck trying to get it warrented when it toasts (and it will sometime)

But the Kicker website doesn't list it as 1 ohm stable... It states 1500w@2ohms
