is a watt not a watt? say we compare 1 watt of hifonics to 1 watt of JL, is there really a quality difference? Or as I always hear "cleaner power" or is it a bunch of b.s?

yeah i figured there hcca line had to be there lower line, i'd like to get a hold of an older 2500d if i could find one.....for cheap too lol

im guessing they are dual voice coil 2 ohms if your running 2 dual voice coil 2 ohm subs off that amp you will either be at a 4 ohm load or a 1 ohm load not a 2 ohm. the kx2500.1 is NOT 1 ohm stable. I was looking at this amp for my 15 l7's and ended up going with 2 kx1200.1's which are 1 ohm stable and cost 200 less that what your looking to spend. 600 shipped for both amps. call Kicker and verify what im telling you 18002563746

what kind of subs are you buying the amp for? if you can find an old zr1000 amp those are dandys. i had one of those on 2 15" L7's and they pushed them plenty hard enough. I sold mine on ebay for around 300 bux. i hit a 150 something with it, btw.
