Ive had 2 10'' Kicker L7's in a sealed box. The box was pretty crappy and the connection sucked. I had to pop out the black connectiors leaving a 3 inch hole in each side of the box.

I think i wanna try a Ported box out so anyone know a website that makes quality boxes and a ported box that best fits the L7's?

i personally think L7's sound like **** in a ported box, i have two 10's in a sealed box and they sound amazing, my boy has two tens in a ported box and 8's in a ported box and i hate it.

 

Does your buddy have both the 10s and 8s running at the same time?

And ported will never be as crisp as a sealed box but it will get lower notes and be louder because its pushing more air around

 

yes he did, then he had bass ***** for both, turned one off other on, and i still didnt like it, nothing hit lower then my old car i could tell instantly, the bass hits harder on some songs, but on the low songs i played they sounded like **** in with the ports

now he has two 15's i havent heard
