Default Left rear replacement.

I have a 2000 4dr LS with stock HU, and I haven't been hearing anything from the left rear. I took the right rear out and tested it on the left, making me conclude the left speakeris indeed blown. The impedance on the rears are 9.5 Ohms, but the only fitting size I have available for the rearis a 4 Ohm speaker. Could I just use the 4 Ohmas a replacement for the 9.5, or will it do some damage? Thanks!

you will not have a problem swapping tin the 4 ohm speaker. Will work just fine. I would replace both backs though, becuase you will notice a difference in sound.

Thanks for the quick reply! Ya, I've planning onreplacing the right rear for awhile bacauseit's buzzing. But since both rears are no good, I have more motivation to replace them both now. Just out of curiosity, would it be bad to replace a 4 ohm with a 9.5 ohm? Thanks again.
