your amp doesnt have lpf or hpf you have to set your crossover its range is between 20-200 hz. id set it around 80 hz. and your gain this is how most people in my area do their amp tuning. they turn their HU up to their listening level ( volume ) then increase the gain until it sounds good to you , without distortion

I know this sounds like the most stupid question every but what would a sub sound like when it is distorted? I know what speakers sounds like but this is my first system with subs and an amp.

guess you could say the sub would sound like its trying to hit 2 notes at the same time just sounds like crap.

im surewhen it bottoms out it will sound different too, I wouldnt know tho, its never happend to me.

its hard to explain "clean" sound, its more of an in-person kinda thing.
