In my 1998 Chevy Blazer 4x4 4dr , my speaker wires are as follows:

Left Front
Brown +
Yellow -
Right Front
Dark Blue +
Light Blue -

Left Rear
Tan +
Gray -
Right Rear
Light Green +
Dark Green -

Does that seem strange?

 

I have right rear
dark blue +
light blue -

right front
lt green+ @ hu brown+ @ speaker
gray - @ hu Yellow- @speaker

left front
tan+@ hu brown+@speaker
gray-@hu yellow-@speaker

front speakers change colors at jack near door handle
tweeters in dash wired reverse polarity

 

I know this is an old post but my 2000 Blazer has the exact same wiring setup. I've been scouring the forums wondering if maybe someone at the factory was having a bad day or if this was common.
