Default Mystery Deck issue

Ok, i put a brand new Pioneer Premier deck in my Blaz w/ all the wire harnesses and goodies with no problems, worked awesome. Then disaster hit when i jumped in my truck and started it and my amp started smoking. Well, when this happened a very loud squelch started in my speakers and kept rising in frequency so i shut the truck off, jumped out and pulled my amp cable. Now, everytime i turn my deck on, change stations on the radio/cd, etc... there is a loud pop in the rear driver speaker but it plays music perfectly. Did i fry something in my deck or mess the speaker up???

Check your power and ground wires for any parts that are burned or scorched. Also, yeah, smoke is BAAAAAAAAAAD.
