Default Need opinions on new sub setup

I have recently been looking at getting a sub but my restrictions were not too take up much room since I still want to haul stuff around in the cargo area adn that it would be around or below 180 bucks. After alot of searching I want to go with a Kicker TC10 truck enclosure and a Kicker ZX 150.2. Im wondering what yall thought about this setup and if anybody had any other suggestions.

Here is links to these on Amazon.

I think it would be a good little setup. i had an old polk sub powered by a kicker 150.2 and it gave that little extra bump.

I'd also look at something like JL's small enclosure like the

Nice GTO btw, my brother has an 04 with a ton of work done (different engine putting down 500 horsepower for starters)

The sub is ok. The amp is weak tho. Look into the kicker 300watt mono amp. a little over your budget, but alot better fir for the sub

alright thanks for the advice and on the amp I may stick with that amp and if its not loud enough for me I can buy a bigger one down the road and use the amp for a project i have been looking at for the GTO.

I just want something that will bump when I listen to some rap or decide to turn it up and then just compliment rock and country most of the time.

If you are gonna run that amp then I would go with a dvc (dual voice coil) 2 ohm sub instead of a svc (single voice coil) 4ohm. The reason is because at 2 ohms there is less resistance than a 4 ohm speaker would have and it allows more of the true power of the amp to push (like twice as hard)..... Take the dvc 2ohm and run each coil to a channel on the amp and it will sound alot better. GUARANTEED

well I ended up ordering the original setup but thanks for all the helpful comments. I will be doing the install this weekend and may post up some pics of the install with a review of how it sounds.
