i have a neon light and a plasma light what do i hook it up to so i can switch iton and off without draining my batt

 

Well, I would go to a spot in the fuse block. There are accessory ports in the block that arn't being used, usually labled acc, or batt. You can use a test light to determine whether it is hot constantly or you need to turn the key. For example, your 4-way flashers are constant... you don't need to turn the key to use them, but your power windows are switched... they don't work unless you turn the key. Or, you can go the hack...err, I mean easy way, and tape the wires to a 12 volt plug and plug it in to the cig. lighter.

 

well when i got my streetglow minies for inside i went about it the fast and easy way. on your dash you have the cig lighter that folds down go in there and take that apart and then wire the wires straight to that it may not be profesional but it works and then when you get time you can go back and do it the right way. i did it that way cuz i live in alaska and it was the winter time and staying outside tolong can get a little cold
