Default New Headunit

Alright, so I have been looking all this time for a new double-din headunit to come to the realization that we have 1.5 din units. Sucky for me, there seems to only be one Pioneer headunit on the market for 1.5 dins. Does anyone know of any other 1.5 din headunits out there that are sweet looking. The only downfall to this headunit really is that it has green buttons while I have a metallic blue ext and black interior.

Or do you know of any other GM or Chrysler vehicles that have good headunits in them with the ability to hookup and ipod and keep the steering wheel controls?

Thanks! I know this is a hit or miss kinda thing.....

found a jank lookin Pyle unit. Pyle

Thats about it besides the Pioneer models. Pioneer has two models, but they look identical. Just gonna have to bite the bullet and get a single din unit. with the right dash kit, they can look pretty nice.

What is a good dash kit to get? I just really do not want to lips sticking out, one above the headunit and one below, I think that looks really tacky. I like smooth and flowing designs.....

And at this time I have an email into Periferal to see if they have an adapter for a 4 channel amp running around 100 watts per channel because I found an ipod one, and if I can get both, then there is no need to change!

Would the SVEN4 work as well? Which would be better, maybe one is easier to hook up? Would either of those two amp hookups work with this ipod hookup as well?

Well the SVEN4 will be what I am getting to add the amp, and after Mr. Hartman from Periferal gets back to my latest email he will give me the low-down on hooking up the ipod adapter with it. Asked if I had an external CD changer or Tape deck, since I took the tape deck out to put the amp there I am hoping he will say I can use that!

He said it was a go, so I will post pics and let you all know by the end of the summer how it went lol. Don't want to promise any earlier because I have baseball tournaments every weekend until mid July, then a world series and a few things I will be gone for other times. Not to mention, work.
