Default Ordering stuff tonight... HELP

Ok... SO looking I know what I need to order, but there is a choice between the fire ring connectors and regular screw on coax connectors....

Which to choose?

I am ordering the cb and antennas, springs and stuff, but cant order the mounts or coax until I know which one to use....

I cant find too much about either being different....

Insight?

Most people just go with the coax screw type and it seems to work good. But someone that uses the fire ring connectors might chime in.

I am just making sure I don't go one way and get screwed over....

But I might as well go ahead and order the antennas and radio and maybe an antenna splitter...

I need to do the same thing. I've had a Cobra dx sitting in my living room for a month and havent got the cable, antenna, mount and installed it yet. I need to run down to the Pilot travel station and pick up those things. Maybe this weekend...

Tell me how it turns out.

Well I completely priced it and its running around 250ish for single antenna and 320 for the dual antenna setup.

I am now contemplating if thats where I wanna put money on the blazer, or if I should be putting it somewhere else.... I did have a decent payday.. but just thinking it over.... The cb is only 160 bucks... lol but thats where most of the cost is so I guess thats understandable...
