oversized single din

let me say this. my buddy runs a car audio booth at a local flea market. anyone in michigan on the east side will know Gibralter Trade Center. well, he sells these and sells them for $300 and thinks they're ****ty. crap quality, break easily, and just aren't appealing. i'm not trying to knock your choice in stuff but i'm just telling you what i know and see.
i've installed them and don't like the feel of them. I agree with NVANZEE on buying a more reliable unit.

Whatever you wind up doing, you should be aware that there's only about 4-3/4 inches of room behind the dash, even after you take out the support bracket. Most installation kits use an adapter that sticks out an inch and a half. Be very careful, and look to see where that screen winds up - and that your transmission selector will clear it in all positions. If it sticks out in front of the adapter very far and down below it at all, it may well not fit.
