honestly... any sub with a good amp can sound good. you can take a $25 Hifonics sub, ran off a good amp and it'll sound just as good as a JL, Kicker, Rockford Fosgate, or Alpine sub off a Pyle amp...

if it makes you happy, go for it. i'm thinking of doing 3 subs myself so "more power to you" (pun intended)

If it looks like all the items are in good shape and it's in your price range, then go for it. That would be 30 inches of cone space, same as two 15's. You'd be right up there with me then.

Alright well he sold the MTX's. And I got itchy and didn't want to order the premiers and wait. so I picked up a couple CVR 12's with an MA Audio 1000w amp. It sounds pretty good. I'll get pics later.

Where are you getting this stuff from a pawn shop? Your flying through diffrent brands and talking about not waiting so I figure it's someplace local. Must be nice!

No pawn shops around here really deal in car audio. And the ones that do get in crap and charge same as new sometimes even more than buying it new. Anywho, MA audio is kinda hit and miss but a brand I can't bash. And Kicker is always a safe bet. Look foreward to pics.

Looks like you got some meaty power and ground cables. Looks good, looks great for used! I think it's odd that so many people talk about the subs drowning out the door speakers. I've got the factory 1991 delcos in the rear doors and the dash and with my Kenwood HU it is nice and clear and is pretty defined agianst my subs. Can't wait to see what 2-3 ways will sound like.

Glad you got some bass back in your life . How are you liking the Kicker's and MA audio so far?

They pound pretty damn good. And yea they look brand new. The amp is doing it's job just fine. They're perfect for what I want. But I could use more room... And a new HU. The jensen I have in it is junk. Doesn't even play mp3 cd's. And you have to punch the thing to get a cd out of it. But overall I'm happy with them.

i'm a big fan of CVR subs. they're cheap(er) cost and can get damn loud. i installed 2 in a 2002 monte carlo. with the seats up, it was loud, with them down, it rattled your eyes so much you couldn't see straight. all off a "1800" watt kenwood amp.

What M.A. Audio amp are you running again? i know its 1000 watt but what model?
