i have a jl 500 watt amp and a kicker 350x4 watt amp hoooked up to a 13.5 jl w6 and some component speakers. anyway....when i put it loud and some bass hits, i can watch my battery meter drop and all my lights dim.and if im at a red light i sometimes think my car will die. i know theres a few ways to stop this but i dont want to mention any because i want to hear from you guys straight up??

upgrade your big 3, upgrade your battery and upgrade your alternator.

 

what do you mean my big 3??

Some people replace the factory wiring; others add additional cables to the factory wiring. This instruction is to add cables to existing OEM wiring."

if you guy either 4 ga. or 1/0 ga power wire you can do the big 3....its not like a kit you buy.

 

ok yea i got some of that. now would you reccomend buying a new alternator at??
