im going to install a 1400 watt amp and i was wondering what the recomended power gauge wire that i would need? thanks

yea i would run 1/0 gauge wire, if your cheap 4ga would work but there might be problems, just do 1/0 so you have upgradeability if da future

bad voltage drops, other not so happy stuff

dont drop the voltage to low on the amps, they dont like it that much, also you could mess your alt up if your overworking it too much

a H.O. alt is one of the best upgrades to get with alot of power, dont get a capacitor
