Default Problems after installing aftermarket radio

I installed a pioneer in my 98 blazer a couple weeks ago. When i was finished i noticed the fuel and temp gauge was not working. the temp gauge sits on 100 and the fuel on E with low fuel light on. I have checked cluster, im thinking its a computer problem. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

yeah... i have never heard of that problem. the only thing i've ever seen like that was in my brothers 2004 GTO. we installed his radio and his turn signals didn't work, it ended up being something came unplugged behind the radio. So, check all your plugs and fuses before you pay someone else or blame the radio

thank you for not underlining your text again... it gives me a headache.

are you sure you dont have an empty tank of gas? just kidding. anyway, like mtopper said check all that wiring behind the unit. i was putting in some 4x6's a while back and never realized til i saw that there is so many damn wires running behind the radio. try rewiring the radio again but this time make your own ground, iv seen weird stuff happen because one bad ground.

there are so many little things it could be that i can't help with unless i saw it ya know?

also, did you check the wiring to the gauges itself? it might have just been a coincidence

Where did you tap in for your power? My buddy scotch-locked into a random 12V constant wire and ended up knocking all of his guages out... just sayin lol
