I have a 1999 GMC Yukon with the factory stereo AM/FM with cassette. On the right side of radio the light are out How do you replace the light.

I dont think you can, I am pretty sure they are soldered to the circuit board.

Yeah, it would probably be easier to just replace it with a new aftermarket $50 stereo.

These days, you are much better off replacing those crusty old cassette players. You can buy a solid-state deck (digital media receiver) with built in HD Radio for pretty cheap.

Yeah I was surprised my Kenwood X996 came with a cd player. Never been used.
