Ok so i bought my 1998 4 door and we thought it was the radio but I put a new one in and it still is not working the front and back door speakers do not put out sound but the dash ones do. So i think it has something to do with wiring but i do not know and if it is were? Any info will help.

It could be the wiring. Did you or the previous owner cut the harness in the dash behind the radio off? If so then that is likely part of the cause of your problems. If not, and the factory harness is still in tact and a wiring harness adapter from shosche or metra was used then the speakers have simply just failed. The factory speakers in these trucks suck really bad and fail very often even without abuse. Another posibility is that the previous owner left them disconnected after removing their aftermarket speakers or if simply has none in it. It's hard to tell with absolute certainty without investigating further.

Did you check the wires under the carpet on the drivers side? I have to replace mine due to corrosion. They did not do a good job if protecting those from factory. My power seat rear speakers rear wiper and mirrors don't work cause of the bad wires. You have to remove your seat the trim and pull the carpet back. Mine were corroded really bad. Maybe that is it?

Well my rear wiper and mirrors don't work ether I mite have the same problem. And I could take out the front set cuz it don't move up and down so i can fix it.
Every thing in the dash is ok cuz I checked all of it in the dash.

Another thing to check as stated is all 4 of the door speakers for functionality, if it's not too much work for you.
One way I have done this isn't complicated but annoying. Take an ipod or music player of sorts with a cheap cheap set of headphones and cut the headphones off, wire the cut headphones up to each speaker individually and test to see if you get something to play through each one. (Will have to remove each door panel to check)
If there is an easier way to do this, feel free to chime in guys.
Not sure if this is exactly what you needed, but could help troubleshoot the problem. Good luck !

An easier way to test a speaker is with the battery pop test. Disconnect it from the stereo. Take a 9v battery, or something similar and connect it momentarily to the speakers connectors (not the wires going to the stereo, that's bad mmkay). If its working it will make a popping sound and you could very well notice the cone moving one direction or the other. If you make a good connection and it doesn't do anything then the speaker is toast, shot or just plain f'ed up.

Your rear speakers will likely not work anyways. GM put in an 8 OHM Delco radio with two 4 Ohm speakers in the front doors with two 9.5 OHM speakers in the back doors. With that said however, when I got my Blazer back in September or so my front and dash speakers worked. When I swapped one of the front speakers into the rear door it too worked as normal with an older Xplod deck.
You did check the fuses, right?
