Default Removing stock stereo in a 1990 k5

I have taken the instrument panel off and unbolted the stock tape player and it comes out about 3 quarters of the way but wont come out the rest i pulled as hard as i could but it wouldnt come loose i dont know how to unplug the wires without breaking it or taking off the entire dash any suggestions?

theres a bracket bolted to the very back of the radio. theres enough room to reach your hand under the dash. im used to the older k5 blazers and went through the same thing when i tried this on a 90 suburban i was like wtf. but yeah theres a little tin strip bracket they put back there... or maybe its on the side but theres something holding it on. i did it about a year ago so dont recall exactly.

actually i think the bolt that holds the bracket to the dashboard is on the very bottom. you can just unscrew it there.
