the guy at the audio shop knows more then your friend. A cap is not the awnser, however a good second battery is.

there only 900 watt peak, you most likely wont hit peak that often and second you dont need a cap dont get 1. I have about 1000 wattsregulary and 2000 watts peakin my truck and i put a cap in about a year ago 4 months later i needed a altenator. I have been running my subs on my battery alone for a while now and they do great and mine are bigger then yours. I have 2 of these: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...ch+P3D212.htmlin a custom ported box. You'll be fine without a cap its just gonna make you get costly repairs because the altenator has to work twice as hard trying to recharge the battery and now the cap and altenators arent cheap

sell it on craigslist. its going to hurt your truck more than help it.

It's pretty much like putting a band-aid on a staff infection.

Ok, i'll keep it for a little bit. If i dont use it, then i'll sell it. I didn't mention, i have polk audio 6 1/2's in the front and polk audio 6X9's in the rear, they make the rearview shake a little and they r only door speakers.

I have one more quick question: Where did u guys mount the fuse? Cuz i looked and really couldn't find a good spot for it.

If its just a barrel fuse holder you can zip tie it to a bundle of wires.
