so i was driving along listening to some Finger Elevennot even loudand then my subs starts like making gurgaling and poping noices for no reason it will just go like POP bummmm POP POP bummmm

and then this morning while i wasent drining i could here that i believe my amp is turning on and off because when i turn it offwhen it was workingit makes a little click

so Im thniking that its not the subs but the amp or possibly the car battery connection

takeing it in to the installer in a while to get some iPod cable installed because he didint have any last time and i"ll have him look at itto

Check all the wiring and connections to see if any came loose!! Also let us know what the installer says about it!!

Hmm. When I had an infinity subs with an infinity amp I used a trunk latch bolt as my ground once... If I had my gain up kinda high and it was a certain song playing it would do this sometimes. Moving the ground and shortening it fixed my issue.

I went to home depot and got a bit for my drill that had all these wire bristles coming off of it... I grinded the bottom of my trunk under the carpet and drilled a hole in the center... Bolted my ground there and I use it now for my kicker amp.

mine is grounded to the rear seat bolt that holds the seat down. never had any ground problems.
