Default Speaker Crackle and Pop

I just replaced my factory speakers in my 99' two door Chevy Blazer with JL Audio.
Dash-JL Audio TR400-CXi
Door- JL Audio C2-650x
Back - JL Audio C2-690tx
It only pops when I have a CD in. My radio does not pop or crack at all.
Today I blew out my Factory Head Unit with compressed air and that worked till I pulled out of the dad's garage then they started popping and being distorted at moderate listening levels.
Can anyone offer any help to this problem please?

i would check the wiring connections at the speakers as they could be lose or you have the wires connected wrong, check to make sure the magnet dosent have any metal filings on it or touching any metal and worse case is the speakers you installed are bad. with an omh meter check the resistance of the speakers as they should be 4omh if above they are bad. let us know what you find.

edit: could also be the head unit going but if it just started when you changed the speakers than i would check there first.

As I was leaving school today everything seemed fine. I got home, let it play for a bit and it seems like it's coming from my dash speakers. I pulled them out, blew them off with some air, and checked resistance. I put them back in and so far so good. No problems yet but I won't really know until I get a good drive in.

Figured out the problem today!
I isolated the problem to the front passenger side. my dad and I went back over the dash speaker, pulled it out and it seems like quality control at sonic electronix messed something! It was wired up where it was bypassing the capaciter and causing loud cracking. a few bends with the needlenose later and viola! I finally get to witness my speakers full potential and it truly is amazing.
