Default Pop when in reverse and Squeaks over bumps HELP!

Hey guys I have a 1999 S10 Blazer, 2dr, 4x4. The past week i've noticed when i go into reverse to leave in the morning, theres a slight "pop" from the front drivers side wheel. and when driving, even over the slightest bump, i get a high pitched squeaking sound. ive been searching allll over the forum and on the internet trying to determine the problem. I just replaced the hub assembly on BOTH sides within the last 2 months. Could it be bad Shocks? Tie-Rods? Im a bit of a newbie at working on cars but i know my blazer inside and out. ANY help is appreciated!

From what I know, its typically the ball joints that do it. Mine does it as does seemingly every Blazer lol. I haven't investigated it but I have new lower ball joints so I guess the upper ball joints are the culprit. Although it doesn't hurt to replace the tie rods, too.

Or could be bushings rather than balljoints. Mine started squeaking about a month or two ago. And I just replaced the balljoints in May. Just got the money to have it checked out and it ended up the bushings were trashed.

Thanks for your input guys, i checked everything you said but I think its gonna end up being the shock bushings! so ordered new shocks and hoping that will do it. if not i dont know what ill do!

Well here's to hoping that's all it is. As long as you can avoid having to drill out the ball joints.

Might be the top left control arm bushing. I forgot to tighten the bolt for it on mine, and mine popped in reverse the same way. Tighten your bolts and make sure its ok.
