Default Speaker questions

Hello, I have a couple of different speaker questions.

1) I have a two door blazer and was wondering how much work is required to change to two speakers in the far back. they look like 6x9s i think. Has anybody out there changed these in their own? Im planning on changing all my door and dash speakers to rockfords.

2)Im thinking about getting a 15" rockford punch stage 3 to go in my blazer. My friend has a 800watt rockford amp which I would use to push it and I would put it in a sealed and ported box. After reading some of your posts I noticed that a lot of you run 12s and I was just wondering why. I know a 15 can be more "sloppy" sounding because its a bigger speaker but I really like the low groundshaking bass. Is there any other reasons why you prefer 12s and what do you think about the setup I might run.

Default RE: Speaker questions

the 6x9s are too hard to get to. you just need to take of the midpanel. sounds like a decent setup your planning for. theres no reason to have a 12 over a 15, they sound almost the same. its just personal prefernce.
