Default Speakers only sometimes

I've been having issues with my rear speakers only working when they want too. I took the doors apart and everything looked and was hooked up fine. How much of a PITA is it to replace all the speaker wire? Or would just replacing the speakers work?( I plan on upgrading the speakers anyway)

Do you have an aftermarket player in there? I know that sometimes the wiring harness connector/adapter (so that you can hook up an aftermarket player) can be junk straight outta the box. It happened to me my rear passenger side worked fine most of the time and cut out when it felt like it. I found it was actually the harness connector itself. Hope this helps maybe a little.

Everything is factory. Sometimes when I crank the radio the rears will start working after. It's just really starting to bug me with the sound cutting in and out all the time.

I'd pull the radio and check the wiring back there. When I bought my Blazer only one speaker worked. =P Replaced the radio for an Alpine and all the door speaks with JL Audio and haven't had a problem since.
