Ever since I had my heater core changed($800cad.) ive been getting static in my speakers, usually while switching the 'loud' setting or detaching the faceplate. It also happens while on pause and i hit a bump. I assume he just tugged on the wires while my entire dash was on my front seat(white sheep skin seats which now have black marks [:@] )

also on the wire subject, the wires by the gas peddle now stick out and catch my foot [&o]

Pull the HU out and make sure none of the speaker wires are dipping down by the AC control and all that. Make sure they arent like right next to a major power line.

My neon likes were running by my stereo lines and i got hardcore static on ALL of my speakers. Just check em and seperate them from each other

U really gotta move that line down by ur gas. thats really not good. if it gets snagged and u cant hit the brake in time. yikes new front end.

id def. say to check your grounds first. I had this problem with my subs and come to find out that my RCA wire got pinched so I replaced that and no more problem
