Default Steering wheel lights

I just upgraded my steering wheel from one without radio controls to one with. I don't seem to get any lighting from any of the controls, is this normal or all the bulbs bad?

Ensure the light wire is tied in with that of your dashlights

What wheel did you use? As I may want to upgrade this someday

I'm not sure which wire is the light wire.

I used the steering wheel off of a Bravada. It was pretty straight forward. Borrowed a steering wheel puller from Autozone and went to the junk yard. Just make sure to get the wiring for both the radio controls and air bag from the steering wheel all the way to the two connectors under the dash and also the clock spring too.

Cool thanks for the tip

As for the wire for the lights I can't remember the color, but I'd first start with what do you have leftover on the steering wheel that isn't hooked up
