Default Stereo Install Kit color

I had a Bluetooth stereo put in today...COOL AS HECK BTW....anywho...the kit trim is black...has anyone ever painted the trim to match their interior...I have the charcoal interior on a 1997 GMC Jimmy...I also have the...I think it is called Metra kit, which sticks out a little, but doesn't look TOO bad I don't guess....I am just looking at the black trim wishin it was matching.

You can find the matching factory paint in a rattle can from your local auto parts store. I've done this on a few cars in the past and it does make a nice diffirence as far as an OEM look...Sanding is not absolutely necessary but it does help to hit it lightly with a fine grit block...

paint it yourself. SEM makes color matching paints for different applications. Find a local SEM dealer near you (look for an automotive sherwin williams) and go in to talk to someone there. You will need to get a plastic prep spray first, then the paint.
