I've had several aftermarkets in the past. They're fine if you dont mind the odd window /door /dash /wiring harness repairs on occasion. And I had cheap ones.
The last was stolen on the curb of a nice middle class white collar neighborhood. They even cut the factory harness before the adapter.

Lol.. just trying to be helpful..but it's a fact of life that thieves dont go for factory radios.. and I thought this was a useful idea
That is.. just remove face of an old radio glue on ***** buttons if applicable and use velcro/whatever to hold it over the aftermarket goodie.
how to take the face of a stock .. radio/cassette and stick it over the face of a recessed din aftermarket, when parked.

If I were a thief, I would go for them... I know some factory stereos can bring $3-400 on ebay. Hahaha

factory replacements usually go for more then ur average new pioneer,kenwood,jvc..etc. that go for around $70-100
