Default Sub Box

Just a real quick question here. If I had 2 12" subs in a ported box, what would happen if I didn't put a divider in between the subs. What purpose does a divider serve? Does the purpose change in a sealed box?

Thanks fellas!

Default RE: Sub Box

you could have some problems with excursion, cause the sub will think its in a bigger enclosure, therefore bottoming out and causing failure.
