My subs sound real good from the drivers seat but when i get out of the car all i hear is a rattle from the back. i put my subs on cinder blocks today so its level with the window and it sounds somewhat better can some1 tell me where the best location for the box is? to have it sound better from outside? thanks

if it sounds good the way you have it, leave it. Just take care of the rattles. No biggie. There is no "best" spot.

My suggestion for better sound is dynamatting the truck for better sound, other than that like the others said there is really no best spot!!

If you want it to sound really good outside the vehicle... open the hatch and windows/doors...

I get that same rattle...seems like it's coming from the behind the plastic trim pieces on the sides of the rear glass. I've tried to get in there, but I can't. Maybe someone knows how to kill that vibration...then you could put your box where you want.
