Im not sure if anybody has posted a question like this before, but anyway: I would like to get the subs in my truck soon, but what would be the best way of mounting the box? or how does everbody mount theres, because they do slide around, everything does. thanks

RE: Sub box question
you can mount them any number of ways....since i took out my tie down hooks i just bolt mine through the bottom of the truck

Gravity! lol This is how mine is because it has to be able to move for use of the cargo area. One thing i do to prevent it from sliding and it works great is strips of grip tape (sandpaper) on the bottom.

Ok makes sense, I dont use the cargo area very much but ya never kno when u need it right? so some sort of a tie down techniqe under the box but not something thats gonna be a pain in the ***. I plan to mount the amp an cappacitor to the little cargo cover wall, i kno its a slite curve but im sure it could be done.

RE: Sub box question
I think if I ever put subs in my newer blazer I would create a fiberglass box that sits on the rear passenger wheel. I have 2 "12 kicker comp CVR's in my '84 but since I travel to college and back I like to use the back for transporting stuff!
