Sorry one more question well two

Should I drill out the speaker hole before putting the box together?
and... Does it matter where it lays in the there? or should it be centered?

and again thanks so much!

oops 1 more... for the wiring of the sub, should another hole be made? or can the wires come out of the port...?

its a lot easier to make the sub hole after the box is together because you have bracing and dead space underneath for your jigsaw. It doesnt have to be centered with this design, it can go basically anywhere, but centered will probably look better.

Wires coming out the port is a bad idea. Not only does it look like crap but it can add to the turbulance factor resulting in noise. Just drill a hole in the back of the box wide enough for your wire to pass through. Then use hot glur or cilcone on the inside to seal the hole air tight...

p.s. I just snapped some shots of the box I built yesterday so ill post a thread here in a few minutes so you can see...

Well I went to lowes and I got all the mterials!

Problem is lowes is retarded! I gave them all the specs of how I want the wood to be cut and they say we cant promise the cuts!

All the wood cuts are off...

and when I tried to fix the problem at home I made it worse

And I dont have the money for a real saw! Grrr

I told you you have to babysit them. Bring your own measuring tape and mark off the cuts yourself. Be a dick about it. When my table saw broke i went to Lowes and had them cut it for me. They made one cut an 1/8th off and i made them cut me a new sheet...Its not hard at all to make perfect cuts with that $2000 saw they have...
