Default Took out my system

If you even want to call it one, today I finally cleared out my garage enough to pull the beast in and I took out the subs, amp, and cd player and put the old one back in. I never used it anymore but for listening to cds, and I like the stock bose cd player so, bam, back to stock. Its suprising how much easier it is to take it out than it is to put in, all while stopping to drink beer too. I thought it was funny that i had a beer in my cup holder while doing this too.

Systems are not just for "bump"...for me, my sub fills in the bottom octaves of music that small speakers cant reproduce.

What is the Delco Bose system like? I heard that it consists of head unit and separate power amps running 6 speakers. I have the same year Jimmy as you do. I want to keep the factory stereo system but add a subwoofer and mono amp. Wondering about how to do this. Want to avoid using high level inputs for the subwoofer amp. Stock head unit may not have low level outputs (RCA), right?
