Default Walling without removing all rear seats

Hey guys, I was wondering your thoughts on walling in the Blazer while keeping one of the rear seats.

I was thinking of taking out the bigger bench seat and basically walling around the other seat. Sort of an "L" shaped wall.

Not sure if this would defeat the purpose of walling, but hey, cannot hurt to try.

So yeah, what're your thoughts on this?

I would NOT want to sit in that seat with all that hard wall material and Bass around me....

do a C-pillar wall. I had one and it was great. 2 15s work beautifully back there.

Ah, thanks for that jag. I wasn't sure if walling in at the C pillar would be worth it.
I plan on upgrading to two 15's this Spring, I suppose I'll wall it in.

Quick question about walling then....

Just basically subs/port aimed forward?
Any special instructions or anything

Also, I doubt I'd want to sit in that seat either. It's just I want the ability to seat over 2 people.

Also also, how exactly do you wall it on the C pillar? It's impossible to put a 90 degree wall there because the seats lay back farther than the C pillar (at the top, that is). Do you build actual sub enclosure back a little bit then just do some funky walling around that to match up with the C pillar at the sides of the seats?

Also also also, made a mock design for dual 15" Hifonics Brutus BRZ15D4.
Attachments attached.

Info for box:
Port:

Slot port tuned to 32Hz with 8 ft. ^ 3 volume showed:
103.25 in. ^ 2 port area (current area: 213 in. ^ 2)
Port width of 35.5 inches and height of 6 inches showed:

Volume:

Inside height: 21.75 inches
Inside depth: 19 inches
Inside width: 17 inches (per chamber)
1.5" spacer/support between each chamber
Yields 4.0655 ft. ^ 3 per chamber
Total for both chambers: 8.131 ft. ^ 3

C pillar wall is cool but with only 2 15's you'd probably be just as loud with a box in the trunk.

how much power are you using is the key question here?

Each 15 is 600 watts RMS DVC wired down to 2 Ohms.
I'll be running two amps each rated at 750 Watts at 2 Ohms but will most likely put out around 675 or so.
