Default Wet Wires going to Amp... Need help!!

My passenger side floorboard is damp and wet. I have no idea where the water is comming from. I have wires for my amplifier going under the carpet on my passenger side floorboard. I am afraid the wires will get damaged. How do I fix this?? Is there anyway to waterproof the wires?? Or put on a waterproof sleeve or something?? I checked underneath the car. The wetness goes right through the floorboard. Its not that bad, but can hurt my wiring and corrode them. Any ideas??

Hmmmm.. those wires ARE insulated, right?

My thought would be to stop the wetness and dry it out.

You Could move them to follow the driveshaft tunnel under console

Yes, the wires are insulated. But, everytime it rains the floorboard will get damp and wet again. No garage. Could I install the wiring on the driver's side instead of the passenger side?? I will see if I can put the wires by the driveshaft tunnel under the console. How about some waterproof tape and just wrap that around the wires. Would that help? Thanks.

i have 1/0 gauge ran through my drivers side. you just have to find a good spot and drill through the fire wall. you might even be able to find a spot to run through that already there.

I found the problem when installing the Amp and sub. A rubber grommet about 2 inches or so big, was missing out of the firewall. Must have been removed when Uninstalling previous system. But, Problem fixed. Should be no more issues with water now. So, I was able to run the wires to Amp on passenger side A-OK. Thanks.
