lets just tell you the right way to fix your problem

1. the most comon problem
a bad ground connection or the ground is to long.

after cheching the ground tye step 2 if problem is still there

2. check the RCA cables. do this by hooking up another set.
if you have more then 1 rca preamp output move the rca's to another one if it stops then the preamp output you have it in is bad(need a new head unit)
if you only have 1 set of preamp outputs and you changed the rca cables and it stoped it was the rca cables.

if that didnt help and you have more then 1 amp (so one dor your highs and mids) hook that amp up to your subs. if doing that solves the problem then you need to get a new sub amp.
if that dose not solve the problem then the preamp outputs are bad in the back of your head unit and you need a now one.

if you dont have a second amp or more then 1 set of pre amp outputs take it to your local car audio shop they may be able to help you out more

I had the same problem with my system it turned out that my amp was bad

i learned to do it that way from my friend keith who owns Car audio invasion in Picayune Ms. it use to be T.O.N. Thunder of New Orleans(till Hurricane Katrina washed the shop away)

if you have anymore questions just ask

Well, thanks for your help, but this problem was already solved a few days ago. It was solved a few posts above yours.
