Default Where should I run 4awg down the passenger side?

Copied from diyma: thought it would be also wise to post here:

Going to put the sub amp on the passenger side of the cargo area behind the tire hump.

There is not enough room on the drivers side because of the gas tank thing.

There is a grommet (and the hole is bigger than 4awg) but something is using it.

I can't seem to get the grommet back in anyways, and it's been just sitting like this for as far as I can remember.

Can I just put the 4awg next to the grommet and leave the grommet out?

This vehicle is rarely driven far anymore. It's mostly used for going to the store 1 mile away and back weekly since everything is so far away.

Any other suggestions on routing 4awg down passenger side?

P.S. I have no idea how to get the wire down into that hole from the battery.

Right now, the wire is going from the battery, then 4 feet to the drivers side, then would be going back 4 feet across to the passenger side and I would STILL need to use about 6 feet of 8awg from the distribution block.

Here is the grommet and where I plan to put the amp and box it/plexi glass/carpet it.

As you can see, it's going to go very well in the corner.

Suggestions or tips or links on how to box and plexi glass and carpet the amp also appreciated.
